Just thought I'd put this all in one place so we can look at it for reference/discuss it all in one place. I don't understand the hate this game gets. I just looked it up online so I didn't just glide around looking at random buildings. The ending was fantastic, but the fact that I had to find him at specific locations that they gave no hints at made it tedious after I just had it and the riddles left. The payoff was great, but I think Hush's appearance in Knight may have tainted my memory of this mission knowing how the end pays off in such a bad way. I love it when I get to explore the detective side of Batman, and I think this mission did it better than the others (and without a one hit boss). Worst part is he wasn't even using a weapon he'd normally use, he was using another villain's trademark gun.īest side mission was Identity Thief. I know Mr Freeze is a fan favorite but I had more fun fighting Clayface than I did sneaking up on Mr Freeze.

Worst addition to the game was the over abundance of riddlesīest boss was Clayface for me. My biggest regret is I had it spoiled for me because I've been a Batfan for a long time and naturally I knew about the Arkhamverse.

It had the best story that made it feel like a comic under my control, and the side missions were a really nice addition to the game. I expected something more like the City boss for Joker, but in an ideal world the fight would be a more difficult version of Deathstroke's boss in Origins. It ended up just being a goon fight with the occasional running from Titan Joker. I also love the references to Asylum in Injustice's stage transitions. It was unique from the other bosses and gave me a break from the regular asylum setting and showed me a visually interesting location. Yes there are riddles to solve and the lobotomized patients, but they just scream and scare you.īest boss fight for me was Scarecrow. I will say my biggest complaint is that after you finish the story the game's map feels very empty. It didn't have nearly as many characters as later games, but I'm glad it was more contained instead of a showcase of Batman's entire rogues gallery. This one definitely felt like an episode of B:TAS come to life. I just finished playing Arkham Knight and I thought I would share my review of the games since it was my first time playing them.
